Knitted Baby Dress
Thousands of knitting clubs and organizations across the United States meet regularly to gossip, laugh and knit baby clothes for the sheer pleasure of donating them to different organizations who help parents cope with their newborn babies in need. If your knitting club is looking for something rewarding to do with your left over scraps of yarn consider knitting baby caps, booties and blankets and donating them to one of the following organizations. But remember, newborns have very delicate skin so be sure to use the softest baby weight yarn you can find.
Premature babies and newborns with critical medical needs often spend the first few weeks of their lives in the cold, sterile environment of the Neo Natal Care Unit. Parents who are already distraught over their newborns feel even more anxiety thinking that their little ones are spending their first days in an environment that in no way compares to their cozy nursery waiting at home. Little caps and blankets and booties help cozy up the atmosphere a little bit - for the parents as well as the child.

When it gets really hot we have to consider how it may affect our babies. The first thing is to shed the warmer garments and look for a selection of cool summer clothes.
If you are certain that the night time temperature is not going to change and cool down, you may even let baby sleep in a nappy and cotton vest. You will find that the natural fibres, cotton, or a light open weave muslin will allow your baby's body to regulate its own heat.
If you feel the little one may feel chilly in the early hours of the morning you may prefer to dress him or her in a light weight sleeveless sleeping bag. These keep the legs lightly covered but not overheated.
If your baby is very young - under six months, you may be wondering if it is safe to give him or her water to prevent dehydration. This is rather controversial. Many moms and paediatricians believe introducing water at an early age could upset their electrolyte levels with dangerous consequences. Others say that is nonsense, but few advocate more than a few sips of water at a time.
Probably the most sensible way to handle is to allow the baby to drink milk formula, or suckle ad lib. They tend to know when they need more to drink. The other thing is to keep a close watch on whether they are still wetting their nappies the same amount as usual. If they are staying dry longer, perhaps you should consider giving a little extra water.

Baby Doll Dresses
Baby doll dresses were not always seen as something for the bedroom, and were typically worn during the day. However, today they are often seen, and worn at night time or in the bedroom as they are thought to be very sexy. It soon became a must have piece of lingerie that everyone wanted, and decided to wear to bed. There is some unspoken wonder that happens when you can wriggle your daughter in to baby leggings, especially when they're paired with a sundress that you bought just to adorn your world with a bit of girlish whimsy. When shopping for baby clothes, quality is really an issue that can't be understated, especially since so many store shelves are crammed of baby girl leggings that will last all of a month before ripping at the seams. Quality counts, and when you dress your son or daughter in a new pair of, say, kids striped leggings from a boutique versus a mass market department store, you know you've done your level best to dress her the way they deserve.
