Baby Jackets

Almost from birth, babies are notoriously fussy. They are also quite fragile creatures. That is why it is so important to find the right baby clothing / jacket. Living in Illinois I am no stranger to extreme weather, In the summer it can pass one hundred degrees and get extremely muggy, in the winter it can drop below zero with wind chill taken it even lower Between freak rain storms, occasional bouts of hail, and all the rest of it, learning to dress your baby properly is one of the most important tasks of being a parent.
Your primary concerns should be dressing ease, softness, durability, and safety, then style. Since most babies dislike having anything pulled over their head, look for garments that are easy to take off and put on, with front-opening or side-snap tops. Snaps are easier (and faster) than buttons. Quick access to the diaper area is essential, so opt for snap-open legs or loosely elastic waists. Velcro closures are quick and convenient. Before washing, close them so that they don't fill up with lint and threads and lose their holding power.

Going into a store that sells baby clothes nowadays can leave you "umming" and "aaahhing" for hours as you browse around. The choice of new baby clothes is extensive to say the least, Angel Dear, Little me Zutano and Crème de la Crème I have found to have a great selection on hooded jackets, chenille sweaters and clothing for both girls and boys that you can mix and match with sizes ranging from 0-3 months to 6-12 months. You'll find " boy" and "girl" baby clothes in every imaginable pattern, color (besides pink and blue, think mocha, powder, buttermilk, safari, camouflage, silver, avocado, Bordeaux, and pistachio), style, and fabric cotton, which is soft and absorbent, is still the most common fiber. Many garments are made of cotton/polyester blends, which dry quickly and resist wrinkles, or cotton/spandex for maximum give. You'll also find thick, soft knits and fleece made of microfiber.
